Probably the finest example of the new 'young bloods' of the British blues scene bringing their progressive, rock driven blues with it's 60's influences, kicking and screaming into the new millenium. The band works extensively throughout the U.K. and Europe. Formed in 1995, the band has fast become established as one of the most dynamic and exciting three piece outfits around. Subsequently they have been in constant demand on the club and festival circuit and performed their 1000th gig in the summer of '98.

Back Street Heroes - review - December 2001
"Now this is something that should have been reviewed bloody months ago. Sorry Lads. If you're one of those people who regularly goes to local gigs, then the chances are you're already acquainted with the Electric Experience as they're one hell of a hard working band. And all of that work has paid off in a big way. This is some of the best 'White Man' blues I've heard in a very long time. Forget the sort of crap that Gary Moore released a few years ago - finger widdling masquerading as blues Ð this is the real deal. Heartfelt singing; as for the guitar playing, you can hear the tears falling off the guitar strings, while the rhythm section keep this whole thing pinned down like Woody Allen trying to escape from a horny Roseanne Barr who won't take no for an answer - you get the picture. Yeah? After Skeleton Crew, the Electric Experience are the best UK blues band I've heard in the last ten years."

biography

The rockin' three piece is made up of professional, experienced musicians with long and creditable histories playing with recognised names around the world.

The central figure is guitarist and singer, Peter Orr (pictured centre), who writes all the original material and who has enjoyed considerable success with a top ten hit in North America, as well as radio and TV exposure in the U.K. and Europe.

Session work with Mike Stock and Jack Bruce add to Pete's extensive live performance experience. "A thundering raw talent" says Pat Marsh of BBC Radio, "Excellent lead guitarist", says Time Out. No blues band would be complete without a rock solid rhythm section and this is met by:

Andy Tolman - Bass Guitar (pictured left) - Andy graduated from the Royal Academy Of Music in 1997 and has been on the 'London Music Scene' ever since. He has played live and recorded with Michael Kamen, Ladysmith Black Mambaza and Sir George Martin, and has recently been working with Mercury recording artist Sinead Quinn. Andy supports West Ham United!

and.....

Dave Innes - Drums (pictured right) - Dave crawled out of a hole in a field somewhere in Scotland. He discovered Buddy Rich at a very early age. He has toured, recorded and shared a stage with: Deacon Blue, Walter Trout, Hamish Stuart, Bryan Adams, Satus Quo, Bay City Rollers, Graham edwatds (Go west), Then Jericho, Paul Carrack, The Cure, A Bigger Splash and recorded Ads for Nike & Snickers. He joined the Electric Experience in the summer of 2002.

"This is one hell fire band that plays with guts and commitment." says Live and Loud in Gig Central

The band plays a wide range of material featuring original songs from their albums as well as a selection of classic blues and rock from such legends as Jimi Hendrix and The Doors. "Original material plus their unique versions of many classics make this the band to see." says Melanie Hurst of The Word is Out
